How Ebola-infected patients are ‘cured’



Medical Director of Specialised Infectious Disease unit at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Dr.Bruce Ribner has stated that, in general, patients who have recovered from Ebola virus infection have developed a very robust immunity to the virus.

N65 Charge On Third-party ATM Withdrawals Takes Effect Today

The implementation of a N65 charge on remote-on-us ATM withdrawals recently announced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will commence today. Remote-on-us are transactions done by a card holder on another bank’s ATM. Although some bank customers have expressed displeasure over the policy, the central bank had explained that it would, engender competition among banks. According to the central bank, the new charge shall apply as from the fourth remote-on-us withdrawal (in a month) by a cardholder, thereby making the first three transactions free for the cardholder.

At least 59 members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect were killed on Monday, as the Nigerian military repelled an attempt by the sect to expand its caliphate to include Bama town, Borno State.
It would be recalled that the sect had last week declared a caliphate in Gwoza, a town 135km from Maiduguri, and may be aiming to get further mileage towards Maiduguri.
