Is It Ever Okay For A Woman To Propose To A Man?

It was a taboo many decades back but things have since changed...but has it changed to the extent that it's now okay for a woman to propose to her man? Would you do it? If not, why not?

    During my time, me i propose to my wife o. Nowadays only God understand. I personally think it is wrong for a lady to propose sha.
